Become a volunteer!

Get involved alongside PUPSF to defend the  right to understand and be  understood

You are interested in the migration in Europe,  you want to participate in our projects, you have a few free hours during the week or on weekends.  We offer you à la carte, varied and punctual missions, according to your profile and your availability. You work with our partners, located throughout France. Some missions can be done online from your home.

 

 

Various missions depending on your profile and your schedule:

  • translation and interpreting assignments by telephone or face-to-face in your region, geopolitical research, drafting of legal notes  

  • holding stands in forums, collecting donations in supermarkets, filming and editing videos

Examples of volunteer missions:

  • interpreting assignment  by telephone in Georgian in favor of an asylum seeker who is preparing her appeal before the National Court of Asylum

  • research in Comorian family law: polygamy and divorce

  • legal research with a view to providing legal information to a person of Chinese nationality who wishes to challenge the  breaking sound  employment contract

Micro-training is provided to our volunteers to familiarize them with topics related to immigration:  the role of the interpreter in a social environment, right of asylum, situation of unaccompanied minors, trafficking in human beings, issues around accommodation

We offer throughout the year a social program for our volunteers, such as drinks, brunches, outings to our partners, for example on the occasion of World  Refugee, etc. We also give on request the volunteer passport which is a booklet of recognition of the voluntary experience and which makes it possible to certify the missions entrusted and the skills acquired www.passeport-benevole.org
