PROJECT "AN INTERPRETER AT SCHOOL"

Written translations

Face-to-face interpreting

Interpreting by telephone, skype or videoconference

PUPSF is mobilized to defend the right to understand and be understood in schools

We make available to schools, located throughout France, our network of volunteers to facilitate communication between the different authorities of the school and allophone families who have their children educated in these establishments.

This project aims to foster collaboration between families and teachers that children can count on to be more successful.

Our volunteers create for schools  the following tasks:

- translations

- interpreting by telephone, skype and videoconference

- interpreting by travel throughout France

More than 100  volunteers

Our organization works with volunteers residing all over France to develop this program of providing interpreters and translators which aims to contribute to equal opportunities for all children, whatever their origin. We connect schools and volunteers by promoting civic engagement and supporting the efforts of our volunteers in favor of the "An interpreter at school" project that we have set up.
