PROJECT "AN INTERPRETER FOR EVERYONE"
Written translations
Face-to-face interpreting
Interpreting by telephone, skype or videoconference
PUPSF is mobilized to defend the right to understand and be understood
We have noticed that many interpreting needs are not met, due to a lack of resources, while a large number of newcomers need help to assert their rights, communicate with the school of their children, to have access to care.
It is on the basis of this observation that we assign volunteer interpreters and translators throughout France to our partners. The assignments carried out generally consist of telephone interpreting, traveling interpreting and translation.
More than 100 volunteers
Our partners are structures which welcome migrants with whom it is not always possible to communicate in a satisfactory manner.
Our organization is working with volunteers to develop this program of providing interpreters and translators to help migrants with their rights and in accessing care. We connect organizations, migrant communities and volunteers by promoting civic engagement and supporting the efforts of our volunteers in favor of the projects we launch.
